Lean Dessert Protein Shake by BSN - Chocolate Coconut Candy Bar

My first impression was if you like the taste of Bounty chocolate bars that most stores sell which are with coconut as well as a lot of sugar underneath one layer of chocolate, you can have this supplement with milk or soy milk instead and get basically the same taste and satisfying filling feeling most good desserts have but of course you get way better nutrition out of this!

Probably the best part of this supplement's flavour is that it is quite rare having the coconut component to it.

If you prefer less coconut taste and more chocolate go ahead and mix it with other various supplements that come in chocolate flavours. I would not try mixing with other different flavours like strawberry or vanilla. For those who want more coconut flavour, go ahead and buy coconuts if they are in your area. If not, you get a tonne of health benefits for buying and consuming coconut oil. I remember listening to a one hour tape that was free from this nutrition store called Kelly's and it went on about a whole hour about the health benefits of COCONUT oil; not vegetable, canola, olive, sunflower, palm, peanut, sesame or corn oil.

For those who are trying to get the basics such as nutrition, weight management, more lean muscle and definition, you MUST take this supplement as it is so cheap for what it does! Some more advice I have for people with more money to spend is to mix two to three grams of Absolute Acai from the California Academy of Health. Each serving has pure freeze-dried 100% organic Acai from the Amazon rainforest!

Other things to note include a shelf life of two years from the time it is made, it has soluble fibre in every serving along with calcium and phosphorus. Interestingly enough, this supplement claims that its 20g of protein for every 35g serving is enough for 40% of your daily value which is based on a 2000 calorie diet. For more serious muscle-builders, a common formula is to have one gram of protein every day for every kilogram of your bodyweight or if you weigh two-hundred and twenty pounds like I do to have 100g of protein daily. Also, be sure of course to spread out your servings and not to take it all at one time.

For what it does and for what it costs my rating would be a solid eight out of ten. It is formulated well enough to be a sole supplement for a bodybuilder such as yourself. If this is the case, each 630g bottle should last you at least a full week!
